:) Hi

Has anyone ripped this dvd using dvd2svcd and CCE?

Would I need to do something special about this or just pop it in and rip/encode like I do for a single movie?

For those who don't know: the Dvd has a menu where you get to select one of the 4 episodes. So how does dvd2svcd handle such a dvd?

Thanks!

when I did a few I had to use vstrip as the ripper and do each episode individually.

internal routines did not pick up all the eps.

It depends on how the DVD is written. If there is just 1 IFO file, then you can do them all at once. However, if there are more than 1, you'll have to do each one individually, you can do a search for methods of doing such, and it's also in the Q&A. In any case, you should still use internal ripping unless you just have to use something else.

Also, here are just a few threads dealing with the subject that you could have found with a search. :

In a nutshell, either encode each episode and then combine them with an authoring program like VCDEasy
(and you'll have nice little title breaks at each episode) or combine/rename the Vob files after riping them all.:rolleyes

Thank you all for your help.

After I posted, I did a search and came up with some useful posts. I'll be reading those.

I'll read those and try and follow the procedure outlined and come back if i have any questions.

Thanks again! :)
