How i can extract wma from avi? (Please anyone)

Sorry for that silly question!

How can i extract wma from an avi ?
I use nundub or virtualdub to extract to wav and then rename it to wma but no luck of playing. I try to use also wma2wav util but it takes out an error message! Please any help is appreciated!!!!!

TMPGEnc should be able to import it, if you prioritize the DirectShow input. Then you can either grab the temporal wave-file, if you use external compression, or just encode en audio mp2, and decode that using WinAMP 2.

I try these things with the TMPGEnc but no luck.
