MP3 compression lets my PC crash

I use EAC to grab them Tracks and compress them with LAME. After awhile the whole PC freezes and the RESET-Button comes in action.

Does anyone have the same probs (or should i say had these prob)

I don't know if this is the solution to your problem but this freeze may be caused because you use the native NT library. Switch to ASPI and see if the problem is solved.

Could also be faulty memory or an overheating CPU.
