@Forum,
Is there any big different in term of quality if I use the quality
setting 0 with the 0.001 ?
Thank you.

odd question, but can you yourself tell? I did a test for myself on some rap music source and I compared 0.001, 0.000, and the wav. the vorvis files sounded amazing despite being 1/20th the size of the wav. there is no perceptible difference between 0.001 and 0.000 imo

Old thread, but same question:
If there is no perceptible difference, why then so many programs use q=0.001 instead of q=0.000 (BeSweetGui, BeLight, GKnot)?
Best regards

I think that BeSweet doesn't recognize internally q=0.000...but I'm not sure at 100%.

I made a test with q=0.000 and q=0.001. The file with q=0.001 was a little bit longer, approx 0.2%. So, I think, BeSweet can recognize the difference between 0.000 and 0.0001
