Hi,
1) I red many posts about joining ogg, chapter inaccuracy...
2) I'm not complaining about softwares
3) Perhaps it would be good to open a forum based on series encoding, merging splitiing...

I try to encode 6 series on a 700Mo cd into ogm format.

Ripping with vstrip each start and end lba for each episode (made a tool based on command line option if someone has interest) to have one vob for one episode.

i) Tried to encode the 6 episodes with dvd2avi and gknot. Work well, but :
*sometimes getting audio-video synching problem due to a shorter ac3 time inside an episode, when it works :
**inaccuracy of the chapter in ogm format due dshow, player jumping on the next keyframe (sometimes 2 minutes).

ii) Tried to encode each episode separately with dvd2avi command line option (and a tool) which gave me 6 d2v project and ogg file. Encoding with gknot, but joining and remuxing ogg won't work.

iv) Tried to extract the entire ac3 files like i) and the muxing into ogg (or merging 6 ac3 files and muxing them) : this time interleaving may be the problem, synching is good at the begining, very bad at he end (3,4 seconds)

I don't have any more idea, bin vertig....
Thanks
