View Full Version : Using Authored VOB files with Original Menus

I have been using DVD2AVI to create d2v projects and then I have been using TMPGEnc to convert the d2v project to an mpg2 file, and then I use any DVD Authoring Program to burn it to DVD.

With DVD It, I compile the project, so I result with ifo and vob files corresponding to the movie, and a vob menu file too. Is it possible to replace the menu i created in DVD it with the original movie menu files (all the vts_xx_0.vob) and copying all the video_ts files and have, as a result, a working DVD?

I even renamed the resulting vob and ifo files (that the authoring program compiles) so that these files would have the original name that the DVD contained. For example, if on the DVD the movie files where vts_02_x.vob, the authoring program compiled them as vts_01_x.vob; after this, i renamed all the vts_01_x.* files to vts_02_x.* so I would obtain the same structure as the original

I have failed in previous attempts to do so. The DVD does not play on Power DVD.

Please help!
