I have an NTSC copy of "Ruff Ryders documentry" and as I have never compressed an NTSC film before I thought id try it to see how it went. (Have only done PAL b4). It is a good quality dvd at best, but using divx5 (pro) I cant seem to get anything near a watchable picture using the same methods i use for PAL (ps. my PAL rips are fantastic). Firstly, has anyone else dealt with this movie, if so what settings would you reccommend (movie specific not generally), or secondly, is there something about NTSC format dvds that i dont know about making them difficult to compress divx from?
