Interlace Movies Sound Sync Problems with IFOEdit.

I have been trying to do this Interlace movie for over 3 week. I really went through hell with audio sync problems and choppy movie using IFOedit to ReMux. Anyways finally I got it to work and I am posting what I did below. The second Interlace movie I did took less than 6 hours.

Following is software I used
1. DVD Decrypter
2. IFOEdit
3. DVD2AVI
4. BeSweet
5. CCE SP 2.5 (Trial Version)
6. SpruceUp (Trial Version) (you can find one using Google search)
7. RecordNow to burn.

1. DVD Decrypter: Follow regular guides to copy all vobs, ifos, bubs to hardisk E:\FULL
2. Use IFOEdit guides to strip Main Movie to E:\MOVIE
3. (Optional) Use IFOEdit guides to strip Extras to E:\EXTRAS
4. (Optional) Use IFOEdit guides to strip Root menu VIDEO_TS to E:\ROOT
5. Use DVD2AVI guide to save MOVIE.D2V, EXTRAS.D2V and ROOT.D2V with their corresponding AC3 in their respective folders. Do not rename the AC3 files.
6. Use BeSweet to convert each AC3 to WAV in respective folders.
7. Build AVS file per the CCE guide using Avisynth as follows

. LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\AviSynth\DECOMB.dll")
. video=mpeg2source("E:\MOVIE\MOVIE.d2v")
. audio=wavsource("E:\MOVIE\MOVIE.wav")
. audiodub(video,audio)
. fielddeinterlace(blend=false)
. (Optional) Repeat Step7 for EXTRAS and ROOT
8. Launch CCE and open MOVIE.AVS, then save project as ECL and exit.
. (Optional) Repeat Step8 for EXTRAS and ROOT
9. Follow CCE guide to embed chapter points using ChapterXtractor in ECL files.
. (Optional) Repeat Step9 for EXTRAS and ROOT
10.Open CCE and project MOVIE.ECL. Set following on main screen
. Check Video Files: E:\MOVIE\MOVIE.M2V
. Cheack ES
. Check Video Information File: E:\MOVIE\MOVIE.VAF
. Uncheck Audio File
. Check One Pass VBR
. Check MPEG-2
. Q:60
. Min:0
. Max:9800
. In Video Settings,
. Check DVD Compliant ONLY
. 16 to 235
. Check Autc
. Aspect Ratio as noted (for me DAR 4:3)
. In GOP Settings (Per CCE Guide)
. M=3, N/M=4, SEQ Header 1
. Remaining 2 checkboxes off
. In Quality (Per CCE Guide)
. Quality 5
. Uncheck AntiNoise Filter
. Click OK, and Encode
. (Optional) Repeat Step10 for EXTRAS and ROOT
Check the size of MOVIE.M2V + MOVIE.AC3 + EXTRAS.M2V + EXTRAS.AC3 and if it is less than 4.2 GB move to Step 11. Else follow CCE guide to further reduce bitrate by Multipass VBR. ROOT.* was ignored because we really not going to use other than to get a picture for the open Menu Screen.

11.Make New Folder D:\AUTHOR
. Move File (faster) MOVIE.M2V from D:\MOVIE to D:\AUTHOR
. Copy & Rename File
. MOVIExxxxx.AC3 from D:\MOVIE to D:\MOVIE\MOVIE.AC3
. (Optional) Repeat Step11 for EXTRAS and ROOT
12.(Optional) Open up Spruce and Add Movie Asset ROOT.M2V if you made one. ROOT.AC3 will load automatically but it is useless. Right click it and go to Clip Properties. Slide until you find a nice frame for opening menu. Click Copy Frame to Background Gallery. Close project without saving
13. Open up Spruce and Add Movie Asset MOVIE.M2V and EXTRAS.M2V. The .AC3 will load automatically. Save project in D:\AUTHOR.
14. Add Chapter Points manually using slider (initially mouse and then left and right arrow). If you dont like frame of the chapter start point advance bottom left to select new thumbnail. Select thumbnail only after chapter point is added, otherwise your changing the previous chapter points thumbnail.
15. When you done "Make Buttons from Chapter Points" using a new Menu2 Page.
16. (Optional) Repeat step 15 for Menu3 Page for EXTRAS.
17. Link Navigation buttons between Menu Pages.
18. Export to Titleset and select D:\BURN
19. Use RecordNow to burn, (follow Derrow guide).
