First, I did have problem when encoding using Xvid (Nic Binaries). As a matter of fact, if I used "Fast Recompress" in Virtual Dub, I got a buggy result. It is just like the first screenshot I join, but instead of just this sort of line that cut the image into 2, I did have a green line.

Second, I used "Full Processing mode", and it seems to works, but, when playing with Windows Media Player (8 or 6.4), it won't work properly. Look at the second screenshot I attached. It plays fine with BSplayer ! I actually use BSplayer to watch my encoded files, but, why is it so weird with WMP ???

Any idea ?

Resolution for width and height must be MOD16. As mentioned very often in this forum ...

If you don´t use MOD16 resolutions, everything depends on luck.

Ah you've come across the special - Anti Corrs - feature

This feature stops you encoding Irish pop groups to xvid

patent pending

I'll close this thread.

Man, it's a shame.

The mode16 issue is REALLY mentioned _everywhere_.
Then, rule no. 12 is there for you, too, fred.

Sorry, but I have to start bad habbits again, if you do too!
