Hi,
I'm currently using Azid + SSRC + TooLAME to convert the sound from AC3 to MP2. The problem is, that I cannot adjust audio delay when multiplexing the m2v from TMPGEnc with the so converted mp2 sound file. So I end up having a desynchronized mpg file. Is there a (preferably command-line) tool that allows me to adjust the ac3 file or the wav file to compensate for the AC3-Audio-Delay of the DVD, so that I can just go and multiplex the two resulting streams (mp2 and m2v)?
When using the WAV generated by Azid as an input for TMPGEnc, there is the possibility to set a so called "audio gap correct" in the source range settings. I'm not quite sure if the value I have to put in here is the same as the delay value the dvddecrypter gives me, or if it has to be inverted. As far as I know, an audio delay of 80ms means, that the audio starts 80ms after the video, so that the audio should be "shifted right" 80ms on the timeline. TMPGEnc seems to shift left for positive "audio gap correct" values. So this would mean, that I have to negate the delay values when entering them in TMPGEnc. Has anybody verified this or has any clues, what is the right value to enter here?
