default.pls not showing up on dvd copy

whenever I create an image from my VIDEO_TS folder, the DEFAULT.PLS file does not show up on the dvd copy and I've done this twice. The DEFAULT.PLS file is in my VIDEO_TS folder. Is this file needed for playback in standalone dvd player? Thanks

It is not needed - it's not a part of the dvd project at all, it's just a file PowerDVD generates when it plays a file.
