I/O Error

Hi Trying to rip a DVD +RW for the first time. Each time I get I/O error 3 just at the end of the rip. Any ideas? Can recorded DVD+rW be ripped. The orginal disk was recorded on a philip DVD recorder.

I don't have any proof to base this on, but my assumption is that if in fact it was a DVD+RW (not DVD+R) disc, you'll have trouble ripping it. The +RW (and -RW for that matter) formats are much less compatible than their write-once counterparts. Have you attempted the same rip with a +R disc?

What rippers have you tried to use? You can try vstrip and Smartripper. As a last resort you could try DVDecrypter. If you use the last 2 just know that you can get asynch with your sound and video.
