Anyway, I had been getting "SYLIA.DLL not found" errors in Vdub (any version) and nandub when I try to use the job manager or load settings (since that's what the SYLIA.DLL does....a scripting language for Vdub which Vdub relies upon for job queue and saving of settings).
I have 3 systems and two of them started to get this error (one system was only a week old and the other was over 2 yrs) while the third (over a year old) was still working fine. For quite some time I thought it had something to do with the registry so I compared it (it was harder than u think since all three computers were running different versions of Windows: XP Pro, 98SE, 2000 respectively).

But apparently, it wasn't a registry problem. My guess is a flaw of some sort in the plugin loading section of the code.
All one needs to fix this is to have the VobSub virtualdub plugin in their respective plugin folder (each separate folder of vdub/ndub needs its own).

Grab vobsub here http://www.doom9.org/software2.htm#subs
