No sound when playin OggVorbis audio coded AVIs

Hi,

Just mux ogg vorbis audio coded with divx video and when played back : no sound. Have installed OGGDS0991 filters. Have tested WMP and Powerdivxnextgen. Have tested stereo and 5.1 vorbis file : no sound. It seems the player don't load the directshow filter. Although when i listen to winamp the vorbis files : it's ok.

seeking desesperatly a solution.

This has been explained several times, Vorbis can't work into AVI.
Compress audio separately, there is no advantage to perform both video and audio at same time.

1) Use VirtualDub only for AVI video creation
2) Use Besweet to convert AC3 to Vorbis
3) Mux .AVI + .OGG into .OGM (Ogg movie) with OggMux tool

Same problem here. I encoded film after that I encoded sound and used OggMux to mux those two. But after that there was no sound in avi. I reinstaled my Windows and then the sound was there. Maybe it's problem with sound card drivers. I have SBLive! 5.1 and with one set of drivers sound works (within OGM I mean), and with others sound is gone from OGM.

I have one question. Is there maybe a problem becuse sound was encoded with 48 khz frequency? Becouse I gave some of my OGM films to couple of my friends and they said that there was no sound. And they installed OggDs.

Sorry but i've read manu thread before to post mine.
Is it normal that no sound is played from an AVI where sound is Vorbis audio (muxed via Nandub) ? If so why is it an option in nandub ?

I've succeeded to have sound using OGM but my Powerdivxnextgen doesn't accept it.
