View Full Version : problem open DV clip in TMPGEnc

im putting my amature action movie, that i've filmed with a DVcam, on a DVD disc..
if i open up a DV .avi clip that's diracly captured from my cam TMPGenc has no problem to open it up.. but if i select a dv .avi clip that i've put together with Adobe Premiere it says,

File "D:/BushidoV17PALRatio43.avi" can not open, or unsupported.

whats wrong?

it looks like i can open some clips i've made with premiere, but some it cant.. and its PAL clips in both cases...

did a few tweaks under the DV codec options and the file was able to open :)

i strongy recomend video server from www.videotools.net.
You dont even neeed to create a avi within premiere the plugin makes a fake avi and links to the project (like (like VFAPI)), no need for extra encoding and better visual quilty.. you can now open the file in any program of your choice..
