View Full Version : How to get audio-settings being remembered?

Hello.

I read the Q&A for AC3-Encoding and Decoding and followed the instructions which will avoid applications to lose the type of audio-output.
I set it to SP/DIF to get AC3-Decoding (SB Audigy) and made the correct registry entry but it does not work. WMP as well as BSPlayer don't remember it and set the audio decoding to Dolby Surround.
So how can I get rid of that.

Hi.

I'm using Windows XP and i have not changed the register, and for me it works.

In BSplayer, try to uncheck "Don't load AC3 settings" in Preferences -> General. And in the 'InterVideo AC3' just set your preferences.
