Help

I'm having a nightmare,
my A03 is now only reading some of my DVD's(silvers) and my CD-R will only read a disc now and again although it writes no prob

Please Help

Nothing has been changed, added or updated on the computer or OS?? That's about all I can think of, other than dirty and dust. I found that my CDRW drive won't read discs it the drive is dusty.

I've been playing around changing ASPi layers and such like, I don't think its dust as both drives work some of the time.
I'm using win 2000 would it help any by installing XP.

No, I think installing XP might make things worse. Have you tried re-installing Win2k? I just did that myself, to correct a problem with the Add/Remove Control Panel program (wouldn't let me remove anything).

The re-install with replace all the Windows drivers with the original distribution from the CD. Then, at least, you have a starting point.
