thank you for you answer

the dvd i use was from ACDC Stiff Upper Lip with:
(0x80) Audio English AC3(2ch) 48 kHz
(0x81) Audio English AC3(6ch) 48 kHz
(0x8A) Audio English SDDS(5ch) 48 kHz this is the DTS Sound???

when i only rip the dts sound with smart ripper and i start besure windows 2000 give me an error massage and the besure don`t work.
it works when i get a 3_2ch file with DVD2AVI but is it the same sound like the dts sound from the dvd because i think i encode a new DTS sound file with a dolby digital 5.1 input file?

thanks

werner9

p.s. sorry for my bad english

i believe you should select substream '0x81' in BeSure.
this will do :)
