I've never seen anything like that. I've tested it on Win98SE, Win2K, and WinXP -- mostly WinXP. If you can help me see the problem on my machine here I can debug it.

This is a strange one. Im running XP and all the other software I use works no probs. I was wondering if anyone has a slightly older version than 1.22 I can try......maybe I need to think about putting win2k on :(
I have scenarist and dvd2avi installed is there anything else I need (dlls etc)

You don't need anything else. ScenChap is self contained. (It's most useful to people using either CCE or Scenarist.)
This shouldn't make a difference, but I can't think of anything else to try: You can launch ScenChap from a Command Prompt Window and see if it complains about anything. Again, this probably won't help, because ScenChap already tries to capture any text output that you would see in a command prompt window and pop it up in its own window.
You're not seeing any error message windows, right?

I'm out of ideas. I'll post again if I think of something later.

I reinstalled my second machine with Win2k and it works fine on there. I must have a screwy OS :(
