Okay,

I'm making a DVD which will haev 4 TV episodes on it. I want them all no more then 800 MB per 25 minute episode. What is the highest bitrate I can make these (it's a VBR) so they are high quality but are around 800 MB ?

Is there a way to tell how big a filesize will be ?

if you use CCE and go to multipass vbr, you can click on "advanced" and then adjust the global min, ave, max bitrates and it will calculate a projected file size for you. if you run more than 1 pass (say, 3 to 5) you will probably get a file slightly smaller than the projected size, in my experience.
