I've been having real problems trying to get my tv out to work. I've tried two configs -
Geforce2 with maxi scan convertor using scart or video
ati 128 all in wonder with built in tv out using video
Both setups totally mess up when I boot into windows xp (either no display or corrupted). So I have to use the f8 button when booting and go into vga mode. Although both the convertor and all in wonder are supposed to display 800x600 as soon as I touch anything in the display settings (colour pallete, res etc) The screen on the tv goes blank and I have to reset.
Also my movies are never blown up to full screen on the tv, they are just displayed in their native res. (so a video of say 352x288 only takes up a small corner of the screen, but a 640x480 video uses it all). I've solved this problem by using the resize filter in FFDSHOW and making it resize all video to 640x480. Is this a common problem.
I'm trying both setups through two televisions with the same problems, any idea how i can solve it?
Thanks,
