Split movie only to 2 DVD Help Please

I need some advice in splitting a movie to 2 DVD.

I have been running the process three times and was wondering if I did it right. I only want to keep the movie and not the extras.

First, I rip it, second I use Ifoedit to remove all the extras etc. If the movie is still too big, I Ifoedit again and split to 2.

Is there a way to jump from the first to the third process without going rendering through Ifoedit 2 times?

Anyone could please give me some pointers in this scenario? Thanks!

If you look at the file sizes when you first rip the DVD, you can tell whether or not the main movie will fit on a dvd alone. If it won't, then why even strip the extras if you are going to have to split to 2 discs? If you have to split to 2 discs, I'd just keep the extras, IMO
