I follow the split DVD-9 to 2 DVD-R's guide perfectly and then i try to play the movie in ifoedit and i get these error messages:
DVD Warning: coul not open a file on the DVD Disc
and then
A file on the DVD Disc could not be opened. Playback may not continue.
Does anyone know why this happenening?
Thanks,
Al

It plays fine on standalones.. i started seeing that myself.. put any CD into your drive you ripped from.. id recommend not the movie you ripped off of but a game of some type or whatever, (that way your sure your ifo's are pointed correctly and not back to the drive :) )..the message goes away.. I havent been able to track down why the rip wants to go back and check the drive, but doesnt seem to cause any issues.

Well if you have followed the guides perfectly then it should work. However if you have not corrected the Chapter number settings in the VIDEO_TS files on both discs, as well as edited the First Play PGC command then that also might be the issue. Follow the illegal navigation guide on Derrow's site. Maybe this will help.
