Why avi container can't handle vorbis audio ?

because usually vorbis is VBR, and avi can't handle VBR audio natively (nandab with vbr mp3 is a hack/misuse of the avi standard). there IS a vorbis acm floating around that can be used with vdub, and iirc u can use cbr. i don't remember many ppl using it, but iirc, it might have some sync problems. you should check for yourself and decide if it's working ok for u.
