Hi I have some video from a dvd which is 93minutes long on the original and just under 3gig in size. when i encode it VBR single or multi pass. min 2000 max 5000 the quality is still ok but the end file size after multiplexing is biger than the original. Will setting some of the local bitrate make a huge difference to the overall size or is there something else I can do?? the other dvds I have done on single pass VBR have reduced in size quite considerably.
