When selecting an IFO file the latest DVDDecrypter (V 3.1.2.0) generated D2S can't locate the VOB files resulting in manual selection of the VOB files. The filenames of the VOB files are diferently named as before. Is there a possibilty to (re)add automatic VOB selection DVD2SVCD ?

You can make it much easier if you don't use DVDdecrypter but DVD2SVCD's internal ripping.

Hi there,

seems to be a little "glitch" in the latest DVD Decrypter version - but will be fixed soon - have a look over here:

But it is really not recommended to use DVD Decrypter together with DVD2SVCD as it might cause async issues.

oki thanx Gerti67,

I like using DVDDecrypter because I rip and not imediately encode and I like the userfriendlyness and the possibility to rip only those audiostream(s) I'm going to use (to save diskspace).

SmartRipper gave me sync problems, DVDDecrypter never did...

You can use smartripper to do something like you were saying. Rip the movie using smart ripper. Then rip that over again using the interal routines that are in D2S. This will take up more disk space for a little bit but after you rip it the using the internal routines you should be able to delete the files that you made with Smartripper. Lte me know if you have any questions about this.

You can also just rip with DVD2SVCD, just select under the 'GO'-button 'rip only', so you can rip and convert later.
