Can anyone help me with Maestro?

I have noticed something with Maestro,I made a DVD with a menu and three short movies,I made the menu first play.Everything works fine but if you let the menu load up on screen then press stop(It says stop resume)press stop again(resume goes off)then if I it play it starts playing the first movie instead of the menu.
This is on my Pioneer 525. Can anyone help me correct it?
I have tried this with original dvd's and they all go back as if you had just put the disc in the machine:(

Stop-Stop-Menu should bring you to the menu. Play button will take you to the movie (it happens on my commercial DVDs too). Unless you open the disc tray and close it again:)

I managed to do it, it seems the dvd allways looks for title one.
So I made movie one First play,with a black bmp.Then when this ends point it to the menu and it seems to work.Another problem I came across was that skipping chapters in one movie would lead in to the next,so I disabled last chapter skip in all movies.Not sure if that is the proper way to do it(would like to know)but it works well.
Commercial DVDs most of the time have the copyright screen before the menu.
