Hey ya'll,
I'm having "issues" with TMPGEnc. My final video output is "jerky". There is no blockiness at all, but in motion scenes (even as little as a camera pan)the picture jumps, not very bad, just enough to piss you off when watching the movie.
About my methods:
I rip with smartripper, ifoedit to get rid of all but the movie with the desired audio (have no use to watch menus)then dvd2avi the output .vob's, load the .d2v in tmpge. I use 2pass vbr, 2000min, 4500 avg, 9000 max. Estimate Motion Search. I use the de-interlace filter, and that's about it. Then I load the output .m2v and .ac3 track in spruce up, and fire away.
Can someone please give me some insight?
