AR question for Scenarist

hey fellas easy question here.. i have Good Will Hunting, widescreen movie. dvd2avi says 4:3 and bitrate viewer says 4:3 Generic.. in Scenarist do i set 4:3 like i think i should or since its widescreen do i use 16:9 ..sorry for the basic question its dumb but i am a little confused..someone pls explain this to me..thx a bunch

be wary of rule #4, you posted almost exactly the same in the CCE forum.

in answer to this question (setting the AR in scen. will override the AR setting in CCE) is is the source in 2.16:9 enhanced (animorphic), or is it just widescreen in a 4:3 frame (letterboxed).

if its 16:9 enhanced, then the AR should be set to 16:9.
