CCE AR question

hey fellas..simple question here and i think i did the right thing.. i have Good Will Hunting.. dvd2avi says 4:3 and bitrate viewer says 4:3 Generic... in CCE for the AR setting I set it to 4:3... is that correct since the movie is widescreen.im a little confused.

Sometimes "widescreen" is a little deceiving. If you take a 2.35:1 movie, and put black borders above and below it -- it is still "widescreen" -- but it is 4:3.
