Customs check at border?

I will be returning to the US after an extended time away with a few movies and I was curious if anyone knew if US Customs would or has gone through the trouble of checking the contents of CD's

im sure they dont as they are probably concerned with other stuff at the moment...

i'm crossing the us border about once a year... always with at least a dozen of burnt music cds etc. in my carry on lugguage! But i never had even one person look at my CDs ...
(it's probably different if you come from asia though!)

Just stick them in your suitcase and you should be fine...

Don't forget, those are just backups of YOUR movies that you purchased on DVD. And you encoded those with your Fair Use rights before the DMA...
