Is there a differnce burning multisession or not? I burned a few discs and Nero asked if I wanted to burn multiseesion. Since it said some DVD-ROM drives might not be able to read the DVD, I said no. Then I made a disc that did not work( I may have not done the ifo files correctly), so I burned it multisession and it worked. Any comments appreciated. Thanks in advance.

im not sure, but burning a multisession DVD Video disc may cause problems with standalones, i remember when cd-r was new, cd players (and early cd-roms) couldnt read past the first session.

yeah, some standalones may not play multisession discs. NEVER do multisession for video. but for data, its probably ok to do if you plan on reading it back with the dvd-rw you used to burn it. If you plan on reading it in another DVD-ROM drive, I'd suggest testing it with some unimportant data to see if it works.
By the way, I thought Nero could only do multisession on dvd-rw's, I've never tried multisession on a dvd-r.
I'm really glad it can do multisession at least on a dvd-rw, otherwise it would suck trying to back stuff up. i rarely have 4 gigs of stuff to back up at a time.
