Cytoplas was dooing some cleaning and getting rid of unnecessary files me thinks. :) He got everything. Nothing but 2 index pages. They have had to recreate the site several times in the past months. I am a bit glad I am not that involved in the site design ATM.

Seems that isn't the *first* time that such "disaster" would happened to powerdivx.com, If I'm not wrong last time they have lost the whole board for some mistake using commadline deleting tool... :D

Returning to these days, when just it was down I have read at homepage: "carefully with rm -...." ... sounds like a linux commandline tool (remove? :scared: ), Again???

'rm -rf' is the killer if you just have the 'right' permissions (i.e. root). The 'r' means recursive and the 'f' forces the delete. There are times when a backup comes in handy...

The previous times were due to attacks on the board. One of them was via a PHPBB vulnerability. Sad thing is now Cytoplas will never see the little joke I played on him. :) :(
