RAW stream processing

The new version of dvd Decrypter has a option for RAW stream processing, what is it and when do you use it?

RAW stream processing allows the demuxing of subs for processing with programs such as SubRip and VOBSub. Before this I think a header was added to the file which stopped the programs being able to process the file.

You're right, but its the other way around. The sector containing the stream is ripped straight from the VOB without any processing so you get all the VOB headers too. SubRip needs those.

Perhaps 'RAW' isnt the best word to describe whats going on.... if someone can think of something better, I'd be happy to change it.
Remember, free space within the GUI is an issue, so it must be kinda short :)

Thank you for the quick response guys, but if RAW is for the subs then what happens to the M2V and the audio if its processed in RAW mode?

Erm, it probably wouldn't work. :)
The settings are on a stream by stream basis, yeah(?), so just make sure you only select 'Subtitle' streams to use the 'RAW' method.
