Is there a tutorial for copping DVD to DVR using TMPG ?

I would like to copy a DVD to DVR.
I have done this many times using Rempeg2 but apparently I should get a better picture quality using TMPG.I would like to try this but I haven’t got a clue where to start
Is there a tutorial for copping DVD to DVR using TMPG ?
