I'll share my results with you:

Nero 5.5.8.0.. It was the first software i used just after i bought my pioneer dvr104, it sometimes failed and sometimes not but if i make a chart i would say 50-50, the dvdr i use is princo 1x and a half of the movies succeded were played good on my pioneer dvc503 and 100% on my daewoo 5800. After several dvdr with errors in a row i decided to leave Nero but i still had the idea i was making mistakes as a beginner and tried another software...B's recorder gold, this was packed with my dvdrw so i installed and tried, no problems at all but some dvdr are reproduced by my standalone dvc503 and some don't so it's a compatibility matter because all of them are reproduced by my daewoo, at this time i decided definitely say goodbye, forever, to Nero...after that i was looking for a perfect software to make dvdr playable on all standalones and i found Recordnowmax, so i tried it and obtained very good and compatible copies when i rip a dvd5 and burn it 1:1, the resultant dvdr is compatible with every standalone capable, but when i edit dvd9 to dvd5 there are two kind of problems:

The first is when i make the project, drag the folders and push record the software stops and ejects my dvdr saying : bad disc, its curious because it's a new disc and it's burned with another software later.

The second is worst because the process starts as usal but after 10 or 20 minutes it finishes "normally", no errors shown and ejects the dvdr showing "sucessfully completed", then i introduce it to my srtandalone and effectively its playable but only the first part of the movie is reproduced, after 15 minutes it stops.

I had heard this software avoids the waste of dvdr and can't burn any bad ifo, but i don't know what's the purpose if the messages are not concerning to that anyway, because they don't say: bad ifo files, or something like that so you don't know the causes...

I must repeat, this two errors are shown only with edited dvd9 to dvd5 trilight method, so if i want to burn this dvds i must retur to b's recorder gold and everything is fine, i hope this helps somebody!

Actually i use for dvd5 to dvd5 direct copy Recordnowmax
And for dvd9 to dvd5 B's recorder gold

nero is not yet meant or has been ever for powerfull image's that are multi-session or very long. Never was so don't be suprised to see that fixed up alot until 6.0

another thing...can DiscJuggler burn dvd's yet. I dont have the software anymore so i dont know. If it can i imagine everybody will wind up using that.

I don't know if nero has been designed, lately, for video or not, but i've heard very good comment about it, that's why i proved it at fiorst and because i've always cosidered it as a very good burnware, but for my DVD burner (pioneer dvr104) it's bad as i reported above.
I don't deny it can be a software matter, platform, peripherics, etc, could be because you never know but actually i just use b's recorder gold and i've realized that if i edit my ripped/edited DVDs with ifoedit and change precommand to start movie directly all the DVDs i burn are compatible, it's strange but i think b's recorder gold is buggy with menus at first so if you start the movie at the begining without announces and menus everything is alright! Anyway you can access the menu later with the specific button and besides you avoid that ridiculous fbi warnings!
