Greetings from Canary Islands
I'd like to know if the Mpeg Audio introduced in DVD2SVCD 1.0.9 build 3 is tested to work.
Thank you.

Uh... I don't think it would have been implemented if it didn't work

Hello Tokafondo,
if you want to test this feature make sure to do some reading in the forums by using "MPEG 5.1" for your search - it will give you many results and will show you that it is not widely supported by standalone DVD players - only a very few play them correctly.
Hope thsi helps,
Gerti
P.S. Please use the search function of the forum in the future or else ... ;)

Feature tested using a Philips DVD751 player and Dolby Digital Receiver and it's working great for me! Receiver tells me a MPEG 3/2.1 signal is coming from the DVD player.
Only problem is my DVD player sometimes locks up but I don't think it has anything to do with the MPEG multichannel sound (I suspect some subtitle / multiplexing / bitrate error).

Hi MaDMaRTiGaN,
you're right, those Philips DVD players tend to stutter or hang, when the SVCD Bitrates are just a little too high (CCE sometimes produces peeks that are up to 300 kbit over the "Max.") - so you should try to lower your "Max." and "Max. avg" Bitrates a little and see if this cures the problem.
Greetz,
Gerti
