I noticed yesterday that Meritline charged my credit card twice last week for the same order.
I sent them email last night but so far I've got no response.
I hope I don't have the customer service issues that some of you reported in another thread.

hi, the same thing happened to me... i got some Asian guy that was a little hard of hearing... all u have to do is call their toll free number which is on there website most likely and talk to them..many people have said "Oh i sent emails and they never responded" this this and that..FUCK emails..give those people a call and tell them whats up.. i dont depend on emails at all.. if they have a toll free number call it :) we solved our problem by calling VISA and they settled it and the next day our acct was reimbursed. id advise many of the people who have purchased from Meritline to call up and give your order thats what i do..havent had any problems when doin that except for that 1 time( partly because i think there was a misunderstanding) no one is perfect and especially if u give your shit over the internet.. good luck and hope u take my advise into consideration..later buddy

I've tried calling their 1800 number but its always busy.
anyway I got a response in email and they claim that they immediately credited my account.
That was 7 days ago and so far my account doesn't show a credit. I can view my credit card account online. I show several other transactions since then so I know its fairly live data.

Anyway I'm going to wait a few more days and then dispute the charge and contact my credit card company.

Just thought you'd want an update.

Now these idiots at Meritline are claiming that they never double charged me.

They're a bunch of liars! Its right there on my credit card bill that they double charged me!

Damn, I really hate liars who try to rip me off like that. What the hell is wrong with these people. They obviously hope I never buy DVD-R's from them again.

I'm just going to dispute the charges with my credit card company. Let them take care of it. Stupid fools...i'm really mad right now.

try a charge back or a warning of two charge back's.
dude i went through the same zhit with tigerdirect.com
some overly feminine guy kept getting all my calls and
actually told me it was mine or the credit's company's
fault. I told them ok will i'll call VISA and see how
they like that.

After 3 weeks...3 fuc'n weeks man they still wouldn't
due anything. VISA told me to take it up with the company
in ? and vice versa. I was stuck in the middle with no
control. So i called VISA and asked them if i could due
a charge back. They told me to call the company in ? again.
I called tigerdirect back. i told them "You've charged me
twice for only one PC. I have one PC but im sending that back
to you aswell and pressing on until i get 2 charge's back. I know
it's not the best thing to due but im going to but im now
requesting a charge back for the PC i didnt' get and the one
i did."

You have the right of a charge back...only thing is, is that
there really hard to get. Your credit company doesnt want to due
it for the company your requesting one for there probably making
even more money with them. The company in ?, which is tigerdirect.com
doesnt want to give you zhit back because the rep they have working
the phone is either a bold face liar or so fuc'n retarded there lucky
they even know how to fart. So threteaning with a charge back is good
but you should never due it for it makes that company look bad and you
by putting you down on your profile as one that has a voice, and
credit card companies don't want you to have a voice...they want
lemmings.

if you don't get your money back you can take legal action...but that
will not be worth it for legal action will cost more than what they
double debited you for.

If you want i can put of some links on some page's labled "Meritline Fraud" and we could google bomb them quite easly...other than that i can't offer help or any more advice.

(Charge backs' are more nast for the company than you by far)
