i converted a three vcd movieorginal [lord of the rings] into one mpeg (which is 1.59 gb)I heard a cd can take 800 mb of video data so i can burn it in two cd's in vcd mode.
After i looked at tmpeg's conversion time (8 hour 30 min.)i decided to make it divx.[i hatre waiting that much,divx should be OK at most 5 hours when look at my previous encodings]I currently have divx 5.02 bundle and lame codec in vdub.(i know it contains many bugs but last time i encoded Saving Private Ryan to one cd with it and i think its Ok for me,i dont wanna do seperate encoding.).
Now can you suggest me what divx bitrate and mp3 properties would fit it in 2 cd's?i tried a lot but i cant get an exact solution.I am using all of the Mpeg4 settings on,psycovisual and the other one (i cant remember its name)are on.should this be changed to achive better quality?
movie is 352*288 and 163 mins.as every vcd...
and one last note:can it be put in one cd ???at what settings???
