Black & White VCD

I've just burnt some music vids (MPEG).
Therefore is used the VCD option of Nero.

Almost every video looks very well on TV after that
but there are two problems with some of them.

1. Some are black & white colored also the MPEG on pc
has color.
2. In some cases the audio/video is async after burning!

Some ideas how this could happen?

black & white:
may be these are pal & ntcs files, and your tv dont support them well.
audio async:
demux in tmpeg and re-mux it in bbmpeg with time offset of audio
