I have a DVD that I ripped with DVD Decrypter, stripped menus and lanuage streams with Ifoedit and transcoded with Rempeg. The resulting m2v file plays smoothly in PowerDVD and has good quality.

The problem comes in when I remux with Ifoedit. The VOBs are regenerated but when I play them back in Power DVD to check them they play for about 1 second and then pause then play for a second and pause.

I have already deleated everything off my HD except the original rip and redone all the proccessing but with the same results.

Anybody got an idea why this happens.

Yes it's a known bug in IfoEdit.http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31042
I wish Derrow would comment on it but right now he is concerned with other glitches but i'm sure he will look into it sometime in the future.Do save your Rempeg2 created m2v file though and rip the ac3 audio from the original vob's,then you can use SpruceUp to reauthor back to vob's.That's what i did with Rat Race and it was very simple & works great.

I didn't rip the ac3 just the m2v per one of the guides I got here. What do you use to rip the ac3 and where can I get the program to reauthor the VOBs?

Thanks again for the help

Just use Smartripper/moviemode/stream processing/demux to extra file to get you ac3.SpruceUp is discontinued but you can find a demo that works for 2 projects with a search.
