Can't find key

Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before. But I have a movie (region 2) that neither Smart Ripper, or DVD Decrypter can find the key for. I used the Brute Force method and nothing. Any suggestions on what I could do? Thanks in advance.

What does the latest version (3.1.2.0) of my program say? - Error wise that is.

Well, after it does the "Cracking CSS" it says basically says, "no vulnerable block was detected."

Is that the first error you had come up?
I dont understand why it went to Brute Force cracking?
Is your drive not region 2 / region free or something?

Yes, my drive is locked into region 1, so it needs to use brute force in order to do the cracking. It is the first error I get when I try to crack this certain disk. All other disc do NOT have any problem. I also turned up CSS detection search size, DeCSSPlus key occurences, DeCSSPlus Pattern Lenght all the way to max, and I still get this error.

Well, it looks like I fixed the problem.
I made my DVD burner change it's region to region 2, and it ripped fine. This is the first DVD I have ever had problems with. All other region 2 DVD rip fine on my region 1 locked DVD-rom. Thanks for the help.

Changing the region would allow the non brute force method to work. This should never fail!

The CSS settings you spoke about, you actually want to take them to their minimum values, not maximum.

Thanks for the tip. Yes, the non brute force verson worked when I made it to region 2 (same as the disc). Thanks again.
