Is there any way to take 1 VOB from one DVD and 2 others from another DVD, and then create new ifo-files to get one DVD with 2 movies on it? I've already tried to join the VOBs into several new ones, create new ifo-files with Ifoedit, but this doesn't work. And furthermore, then i would have one movie on the DVD, where i want to have 2 of them. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what you mean by having two movies instead of one movie on a DVD. If you combine the VOB's it'll play one after another...

Yes Atreides93, i know. That's why i don't want to combine the VOBs. I really want 2 different titles on my DVD (First one being the last part of a film that starts on another DVD, but is too long to fit on one disc, and second one being a complete new film that will fit on the remainder of the DVD-R). As a matter of fact, i've tried joining the VOB-files and creating new ifo-files, but that didn't work (the second movie wouldn't start, my standalone would just play through all chapters -one by one, very fast- without actually showing any video signal).

So: is it possible to create a DVD with two distinct titles? And if so, how do i go about doing that?

Thanx 4 your replies.

drone,
I think for what you want to do you'll need a DVD authoring program like maestro or scenarist or spruce up.

Ifoedit is great at backing up an exist DVD, but its not designed to author a DVD or make drastic changes to the structure.

vu972,
It will take a bunch of VOB's and combine them and build new IFO files for them.

Just read the guides on derrow's page on mpucoder's web site for how to combine VOB's.
