ISO image Questions

Using Windows Me, is the ISO image size limited to a 4.0GB?

Then if the image size is bigger than 4.0GB, is it truncated?

When DVDDecripter makes an ISO image it creates four files.
What are these four files below?
DVDVolume.DVD
DVDVolume.I01
DVDVolume.ISO
DVDvolume.MDS

I ask this because when IFOEDIT creates an ISO image I have only
the file image.ISO

The .DVD file is used by DVD Decrypter when burning.
The .MDS file is used by CDMate and DAEMON Tools to mount / burn large files split into sections (as is happening in your case).
The .ISO and .IS1 files are (when combined) the actual ISO file.

The reason you get two ISO files is because you have ripped to a drive that doesnt support files > 4GB. The program therefore has to split the output into two files.
Neither one of these can be used on their own.

Now, I understood why the image created by DVDDecrypter under
Windows Me works fine when burned.
And when I try to make the image using IFOEDIT feature it is aborted
image creation near the end, cause the image is bigger than
4.0GB and it cannot be splited by the IFoedit image engine, becaming
incompatible with the file size of Windows ME FAT 32. Is it right?
