One more time...
To import an AUDIO file into Spruceup, it HAS (repeat, HAS) to have the same name as the video elementry stream, with the audio type extention (ie, .AC3, .MPA, etc). Let's say that your video file is named MY_VIDEO.M2V. If you want to bring in a corresponding audio file, it will be named MY_VIDEO.AC3 (or whatever audio format you have used). Now, when Spruceup finishes reading in MY_VIDEO.M2V it will immediately read in MY_VIDEO.AC3. You CANNOT read in an audio file separately (don't know why, but those are the facts).
To get your audio file in now, just DELETE your video file from the media assets window, then bring it back (it will come back very quickly, since it has already read it and create it's index file). Once it has re-imported your video file, your audio file will follow (provided you have named them as above). Once completed, your video file will have a blue speaker on it, indicating audio attached.

I have same question, "audio in Spruceup"
when importing media asset into spruceup, (I named audio file same as video file) a message appear after scan video. it said "AC-3 playback not supported in spruceup trial version. output.ac3 will not be audible." then it scanned audio.ac3, I see movie with flag and blue speaker on it.
first: what is this mean? I use DVD2AVI to get audio, it work fine in DVD Maestro.
any one can help, how can I work around this problem?
second: I encode movie in 16:9, how can I convert it to 4:3 so Spruceup won't claim?
thank you.

1. You have the trial version of SpruceUp -- it doesn't support AC3.
2. Search for 4:3 and SpruceUp -- this has been discussed at length in this forum.

Hello,
by the way Spruce doesn´t support subtitles right? If does how do we do it?

Spruce doesn´t support subtitles right?
That is correct... only a video stream and one audio stream. No substreams (subtitles).
