Relax....
1) M2V=MPEG2 Video file
MPEG2 can be edited by ANY MPEG2 editing software. Doh.... :)
Like TMPEGEnc, Womble MPEG VCR, etc.
2) This is the DEVELOPMENT forum and NOT the MPEG2 editing forum ;)

you may need to change the extension to mpg for some progs for example Premiere
