Hi.
I'm getting bin image files far more larger then expected when
using VCDEasy to make my music clips SVCD.
Examples:
Selected mpeg2......VCDEasy.................Final bin
files size.........Expected size...........size
92 MB (1 file)......93Mb....................107MB
339MB(4 files)......342Mb...................392MB
795MB (10 files)....819Mb...................949MB
Since this does not happen when making audio CD that
like SVCD use the full blocks for data, it seems to me that
something may be wrong on the VCDEasy settings (or even
at the TMPEG encoding level).
As I could verify by the log files, there is a lot of zero insertion
to the files (ranging from 8 to 12 MB) for each track.
Is it possible to avoyd this?
In audio tracks there is only padding at the end of file.
I dont need too much sofistication into my SVCDs since they
are composed of music clips. >| and |< commands
on standalone players are enough.
Here is the four tracks log file from VCDEasy:
