Idea for AVISynth plugin

Could there be a way to auto load a sequence of images as video in AVISynth, like you give it a simple text file stating the image filename and the starting timecode and it simulate a video source from it? This would be very helpful for using a sequence of images to make small intros or presentations. Anyone up to coding it?
