What Women Want:
Have split into 2 dirs, and added VTS_TS files. Menu starts up fine on both dirs. On disc 2 when you hit PLAY MOVIE you get illegal navigation.....

When you play the original file the movie is in TITLE 2 (VTS_1, TTN_2). If you follow derrows guide (as in Miss Congeniality) and try JUMP_TT 1 - it locks up IFO Edit completely?

HOw do you know what file it is looking for when you press PLAY MOVIE?

If the movie is in title 2, why do you let it jump then to title 1 ?

When you play title 2 - it plays the ICON HOME ENTERTAINMENT intro then back to the menu... can I supply a listing so you could take a look. It just does not make sense.

I can play the VOB in Power DVD no probs but cant seem to get it to play via the menu?

------17:30 Addition------
Now total of 3 movies doing the same thing... After splitting into 2 directories, Disc 1 works fine. Disc 2, get to menu ok then play movie and error.
American Pie 2
What Women Want
Spy Game

What am I doing wrong? What do I need to adjust to make disc 2 work when i click "PLAY MOVIE"

What version of IfoEdit are you using? I think pretty much everyone is having the same problem as you with versions 0.92 and up, and Derrow is aware of the problem. For the time being, you can always use version 0.91 and the 2nd DVD will work fine, but the chapter menu will not work. See the posts in Derrow's "IfoEdit 0.93" thread.

Was using 0.931 IfoEdit. Did try and re-associate files back to 0.91 but was still having problems. Format and resinstall WinXP and thing seem better.

Finally cracked it with the movie What Women Want - I copied the VTS_01_01.BUP and IFO files OVER the ones IfoEdit had just created and it worked! Had to go and manually edit chapters etc - but it seemed to be the only way to get it to see the movie.

The solution is just to use version 0.932 to split the movie and then change the first play PGC of disc 2 to "Jump to title x" (where x = the title number of the movie). Then everything works great!

Been using 0.932 for some time and now got this stinker of a problem:
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32131

By default teh command in 1. Pre Command is:
(JumpSS VMGM) Jump to VMG PGC: 4 [30 06 00 04 00 c0 00 00]

How do you get DISK 1 to jump to the main menu and skip all the copywrite / trailers etc? Editing FIRST PLAY PGC to go to
Title 3: VTS_1, TTN_3 (where i think the main menu is) does nothing but lock up IFOEDIT.
