I just did a movie with Maestro, put in my own chapters like always, and for some reason when the movie gets up to the point where chapter 2 is, the movie stops and goes back to the begining. If you hit the next button before chapter 2 to and jump to chapter 2, it plays ok. But if you let the movie play, when it gets to the chapter 2 point it stops and goes back to the begining or I guess you could say chapter 1. Also, it only does it on my standalone not my computer, and its a Pioneer RW disk

In the Advanced Connections window, what does the Chapter2 End-action say?

Didn't get a chance to check I threw the project away and re did it, now its ok, but I bet your right I probably had chapter 2 end action set to play chapter 1, don't know how I screwed that up

if the last chapter in a movie doesnt have an end action, then where the dvd player goes next is interesting; most will stop playing the dvd, but i have seen a couple continue on with the next VTS or even going to the chapters menu (if defined).

Doesn't the guide say that the default value for the EndAction is the Next Chapter? In other words, unless you put in a target, a blank entry will assume that you will go to the next chapter. There may be some options where you can turn off this default but I have not had a reason to look for it:)

yes thats right, but a blank entry for the last chapter in a VTS means it depends on what the dvd player is set to do, i think most go into stop mode.

A while back I set an end action to start titles over.
then after that i inserted many chapters.
When all done i didn't notice that the end action of the original title was now at chapter 1
So when i played title it acted as above mention.
